This beautiful, traditional Breton stone farmhouse is set in a peaceful location, right in the heart of the countryside. The thick granite walls, covered in climbing vines, keep the house cool in summer, while a cast-iron wood-burning stove makes it warm and cosy in winter. Outside, a large gravel area is perfect for enjoying long summer evenings, hosting a barbecue, or having a game of pétanque with friends. Inside, the house is bright and comfortable. The kitchen is open-plan and well-equipped, with a welcoming dining area. The living room is warm and cosy, with two sofas, armchairs, a television, and a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. There is a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, a large bedroom with a double bed has its own shower room. Two further bedrooms, each with two single beds, share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The décor is simple, tasteful and calming, with natural tones throughout. The house is located on a private 4-hectare estate, surrounded by lawns, flowers, and tall trees. A small path runs through the property, leading through a clearing to a private lake. There is a rowing boat, a small jetty for swimming or diving, and rainbow trout which we regularly introduce to the lake. Fishing is possible with a daily permit. Our treehouse (currently under construction) offers a stunning view over the lake. Children will love exploring the woods, climbing trees, and building dens. It’s the perfect place to play freely in nature. We grow our own vegetables and are happy to share our harvest with our guests. Our six hens provide fresh eggs, available depending on the season. These are simple pleasures that truly make a difference.
