“We” are James and Roo, and we moved here permanently in 2014 with four of our five children, swapping the busy South East of England for the peace and quiet of Brittany. We love the sound of owls instead of the constant hum of traffic, and our two dogs, Ebony and Juno, enjoy the fields, woods and water where they can burn off their boundless energy!
 

We have now been welcoming guests to our gîte for over 11 years. We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome and are always available if needed, while making sure to respect your privacy so you can fully enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We love welcoming old friends here, and it’s always a pleasure to meet and make new ones when guests come to stay at Les Papillons for their holidays.
 

In our “old life”, I was a garden designer, and we are slowly but surely taming the 9 acres of land that surround us. We are enjoying the challenge of learning the language, but our children are now bilingual and often come to our rescue!
 

Pets are very welcome here — we love animals and will be delighted to welcome them too.
